Intensity is the CrossFit manifesto, its El Dorado, its Holy Grail. In CrossFit we are engaged in a constant quest for higher intensity. Intensity translates into results-faster times, heavier weights, more reps, greater fitness. Intensity is what separates us from all the other gyms. We have no machines, no mirrors, no cables, no chrome, no supplements, no gimmicks, no 7 minute ab routines. In short, no bullshit. We have intensity. We teach technique, stress proper form, write the workout on the wall, click the start button on the stopwatch, and set you free. And while you may not set any records, you are in the fight of your life. Each and every workout. Your heart will bounce off your ribcage, your muscles will betray you, your spirit will struggle, and afterwards, when you get off the floor-beat, tired, a smile on your face-you will have conquered. That is what we mean by intensity.
Here at CrossFit Allegiance (XFA) we are serious, savage even, about our fitness. Real fitness. Functional fitness. Fitness that will make you stronger, faster, leaner, and healthier than you could dream of. You will also work harder than you ever dreamt you could and see results you never thought possible. Lu Crenshaw is a Level 1 CF instructor who discovered CrossFit after years of being a 'run of the mill trainer' doing 'run of the mill workouts'. After being introduced to CrossFit she has never looked back. Along with being CrossFit Certified she is CF Barbell Certified and has the opportunity of traveling the country with Mark Rippetoe and Jeff Tucker and their staff teaching/instructing at the Barbell and Gymnastics certifications.

After a life-altering car accident she became aware that fitness and excellence does not come without hard work and dedication. After intense rehabilitation she was able to fulfill her scholarship and objective by starting as a Division I College athlete for four years. Lu uses her personal experience and success, along with her professional training, a BA in Exercise Physiology, and experience as a fitness coach to motivate her clients to achieve their fitness aspirations.

Lu's passion is to see her clients achieve a healthier lifestyle while reaching their fitness goals and increasing their confidence. Lu inspires everyone she meets causing superior athletes to re-evaluate their fitness goals and motivating beginners to believe in their natural ability to excel.

As a coach, whether it be in life, in the gym, or on the field, I will always expect the best that YOU have to give. Your best may not be someone's else's best but it's your best and that is all I will ever ask of you. My job and my goal as a coach is to challenge you and push the limits of what you feel you are capable of, and for most people they have no idea how great they can truly be.
